The School Year Is In Full Swing!

It's official, the school year is in full swing! We are so very grateful for the love and support from the entire Kincaid community.


Our Parents, Students, Kincaid Staff - thank you for taking the time to join PTA, contribute to Foundation's Family Investment Campaign, order Cougar Pride spiritwear and purchase a yearbook. Your support has a direct impact and is so greatly appreciated. Let's Keep It Going!

Membership in the PTA is yearly from July 1-June 30. We have over 250  members signed up, we are still a long way away from 100% participation. If you haven't renewed your Kincaid PTA membership yet, please consider doing so. Click to visit our website and join today!

This year's focus is showcasing PTA at Work to deliver quality and impact. 


Our F.B.I. (Fellas Being Involved) - thank you dads for helping with Friday morning carpool. If you are a dad, uncle, grandpa or male friend and interested in being a member of the crew, contact volunteer@kincaidpta.org and we will connect you with the coordinator, Kevin McAlpin.


Our Classroom Parent Representatives - thank you for your service in the classrooms and beyond. Parents should be receiving information from their child's classroom parent rep(s) soon about how you can help this year. We still have a few classes with open slots. If you are interested in being a room parent rep, contact volunteer@kincaidpta.org and we will connect you to a classroom in need. 


Our Principal Ms. Blake - thank you for the awesome new digital message board. It's a great way to showcase business supporters, upcoming events and special announcements.

Wipe Your Hands! Wipe Your Nose! Wipe The Tables! Wipe Drive - September 20-24th

Kincaid PTA is hosting a Wipe Drive next week, September 20-24th for our enrichment teachers. Clorox wipes, Lysol wipes, baby wipes and tissues are requested. Please put your donations in the marked boxes by the front of the school and the cafeteria. Only give what you can. All contributions are appreciated. Thank You!  

Reflections Submissions Requested

"I Will Change The World By..."


  • THINK ABOUT what the theme “I Will Change the World By…” means to you.
  • Unleash your ARTISTIC TALENTS in story writing, film, dance, music, art, or photography.
  • PICK UP an application packet in the Front Office or on our Reflections webpage.
  • SUBMIT your work and application in the Reflections box by OCTOBER 15th.
Virtual School Update

Parents interested in having their child transfer into the Cobb Elementary Virtual Program (EVP) beginning second semester, will have an opportunity to sign up in mid-October. A lottery method will be used to finalize the transfers, and parents will be notified of acceptance in November. More information will be shared as received.

Family Investment Campaign

Help us meet our goal of raising $20,000 for the Kincaid Foundation. These funds support several school-wide programs and initiatives, such as the STEM lab, the PTA, new laptopsand ipads and MUCH more!  We still have a long way to go to meet our goal...any contribution is appreciated! All donations go right back to the school and are tax-deductible.

September 23rd - Spirit Night At Bad Daddy's Burgers

Bring your family and friends to Bad Daddy's Burger Bar (Sandy Plains location) on Thursday, September 23rd from 5-8 PM and help us raise $$ for our school. 20% of dine-in and take-out sales will be donated when you mention Kincaid PTA.

November 2nd - ED-Splost VI Is On The Ballot

This November, Ed-Splost VI (the 1% sales tax) is on the ballot. It is important for our school and community as our student population is expected to increase and our infrastructure ages and/or becomes outdated. Revenue from SPLOST is vital to the continued growth and maintenance of our capital needs (renovation and building of schools, upkeep of community facilities, purchase of school buses, safety enhancements, etc.). Projects listed for this SPLOST include a new annex for Kincaid Elementary and the rebuild of the long neglected Sprayberry High School.

BOXTOP. Download the app, look for Kincaid (Marietta) and start scanning your receipts. The app keeps track of everything and sends fund back to the school during the summer.


PUBLIX. Create/Sign-In a Publix.com account, go to My Account > My Publix Partner, and select Kincaid Elementary School PTA. Enter your number each time you checkout and Publix will make a donate to Kincaid.


AMAZON SMILE. Ready to purchase items at Amazon.com, go to Smile.Amazon.com instead. Search for Kincaid Elementary Foundation. You’ll pay the same prices for the same items, and the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to Kincaid Foundation.


KROGER. Create/Sign-In to you Kroger.com account, go to MY Account > Community Rewards, select Kincaid Elementary School under Organization Name. Every time you use your Kroger card, it will donate to Kincaid.
