Volunteers for Simpson School
Rising 6th Grade Parents:
Looking for a way to become involved at Simpson? Volunteer in the front office!
We have several shifts opening up for the next school year. You'll be answering phones, signing students in/out, delivering mail, and doing other easy but very helpful tasks. It's a great way to become knowledgeable about Simpson and its policies/procedures, to learn who the teachers are, navigate how to get around the school, and to put some faces with names of people who teach and administer your child every day. Volunteer shifts are only 2 hours, every other week.
For more information, email Laura Shutt at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Update from Kincaid Elementary:
Thursday, May 4, 2017 (tonight) at 6pm Dodgen Theater - Rising 6th Grade Parent Night is an opportunity for parents new to Dodgen (or in need of a refresher) to learn about the school, administration, policies and procedures. Parents only please.
If you have a rising 6th grader, please login to the Dodgen Toolkit and enter the student's name and grade, “rising 6th”. This will ensure that you receive communications targeted at rising 6th grade parents and students.
Middle School Transition Night – We have decided to cancel the Middle School Transition Night scheduled for next Tuesday, May 9th. We did not have the participation needed to make this a successful event. We hope you will take advantage of all the information sessions provided by the Middle School.
Last week for clubs – Clubs are finishing up this week. Beginning next week please make sure your child’s teacher knows how they will be going home.
ATTENTION CAR RIDERS:
If your child is a car rider in the morning please be aware of the" unload starting here" sign that is on right side of the sidewalk as you enter from the street. From this sign on please have your child ready to exit the car. We are trying to keep the car line moving in the morning so staff will be positioned from this sign around the circle opening doors for students to exit their car. We appreciate your help.
