Reflections is a National PTA sponsored arts recognition program that encourages artistic expression. This 50+ year-old program helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning. 

Interested Kincaid students are asked to submit an original work of art, based on this year's theme, in one of the following categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts (see category requirements below).

All artwork submissions MUST be through the google form link above. 

*You can ONLY upload files through a google account. If you do NOT have a google account, please take a moment to create one.

For visual art and 3D art, please submit a picture of your original art work.
Parents can help younger participants complete the entry form and upload their file, but the actual art work and idea should come from the student.

Rules have not been provided for 2025 at this time, so please refer to the 2023 rules below.

Visual Arts and Visual Arts 3D are judged together.

All participates will be invited to the Kincaid Reflections Recognition Ceremony. Students with entries placing 1st and 2nd in each category from our school level will move on to the East Cobb Council level for judging. Winning entries at the East Cobb Council level can then move on to State and may then be eligible to compete at the National level.

After submitting a picture of your art work through the google form above, please keep your physical art AT HOME. The school will announce participants for a prize in late October. Physical artwork will be requested to turn into the school closer to the ceremony.  The date of the ceremony will be announced after county judging concludes. It will likely be in January 2027.
